Every soap comes in our 4 oz plastic jar so you can store them with ease and whip up your lather without making a mess.

Shiver Me Timbers Shaving Soap

This was among my first purchase from Black Ship Grooming and I'm impressed. I wanted a nice crisp "minty" soap for winter. I smells and lathers so well I've been using it in my regular rotation. I love the rich lather and have found I only need one pass with my razor even with a couple of days of growth.
Bonus points as my wife likes it to and started using it when she shaves her legs. I'll by this again for sure.

This is my favorite soap to date! This stuff feels like rubbing ice on your face, it has an amazing cooling/numbing sensation with a nice minty scent.

Great lather, cushion and slickness. Outstanding peppermint/spearmint scent with added tea tree oil and menthol. Cool, clean and super refreshing - especially in warmer weather. Finish with matching splash for a winning combination. One of my top three products from Kelly Hogan.

Shiver Me Timbers Shaving Soap

This is a soft soap that I prefer to bowl lather. Once the brush is loaded or your lather has been built, it is easy to apply to your face and provides for a slick shave. The scent on Shiver Me Timbers is great. Sort of aquatic with mint. There is a little menthol to this soap but it is not a face-freezer or overly cold. I would describe the menthol presence as slightly cool which is pleasant rather than overwhelming. Overall a refreshing and soothing shave.

Applying this after using the matching soap feels really cold. Feels almost as cold as having ice on the skin, really refreshing. I love how it feels and it has a clean minty smell. If you like peppermint, you'll love this scent. An awesome summer aftershave.
