Freebooter is our unscented shaving soap. We know that not everyone wants a scented soap. So we created this in our new "Kaito"  Shaving Soap base for a premium shave.   

  • Each batch of our artisan shaving soap is made by hand. made in small batches so we can use the freshest ingredients to provide you with the very best quality shaving soap that you can get.
  • Our soaps protect your face from nicks and razor burn by creating a superior slickness that will help keep your razor gliding smoothly across a thick rich cushion of shaving soap lather
  • Every soap is 4ozs and comes in our 6 oz plastic jar so you can whip them up with ease without making a mess.
  • Our special plastic tubs feel great in your hands like small shaving bowls and won't rust if you're a shower shaver.
  • You don't need a lot of soap to get a great shave. Our soaps could be used from 4 to 6 months depending on how you load your brush. 

How to use: Do not bloom our soaps. Run your shaving brush under hot water then swirl your wet brush tips over the soap till you load the desired amount of soap. Then simply brush your soap onto your face. You're ready to for a great shave. 

Ingredients: Coconut oil, shea butter, stearic acid, potassium hydroxide, water, glycerine, fragrance and essential oils. 

All shaving soaps are 4 oz net weight

Solid "Win"

Like many of you, I've tried A LOT of soaps and aftershaves after taking up wet shaving ( I went "all in" on it and have used a straight razor for at least 5 years now).. The hardest part after learning to use the razor, has been finding a really good soap (and Black Ship has been my favorite from the moment I tried their products) that didn't have a "heavy" scent.

My wife has a very sensitive nose, and barely tolerates even a simple scent and I'm not a fan of having "a scent". I was playing with making my own aftershave because of this, and found that some sort of scent is more or less necessary because of the ingredients in the base. This was extra frustrating because BSG aftershave base is also my runaway favorite. Thank Goodness for Port Royal! Light scent that fades quickly AND I get all the benefits of BSG soap and aftershave products.. HOW could that get better?
