Our splashes are not watered down, we don't skimp on the Witch Hazel, Aloe or the Vitamin e.
Our aftershaves will leave you skin feeling moisturized, most splashes that have alcohol make your skin feel dry. You'll find that when you use our splashes that you don't need secondary moisturizers. We also add just the right touch of Menthol for a pleasant cooling effect.

Richard M. I have used the captain scurvy so far and will try the siren song next. Both have a great scent and the aftershave lasts a long time. It leaves a wonderful burn when applied also. I love that. You sent me a sample of wassail aftershave also and I will definitely order that one next. I smells so familiar to me but I can't quite put my finger on it. The siren song have a very outdoors woodsy scent. I think I am smelling either spruce or cedar in there. All in all I am very satisfied with my purchase and I will most assuredly be back for more. There are several other scents I am interested in but I am sure I would love them all.

John C. The scent of Captain Scurvy really grew on me. At first, I bought the soap and initially thought it was ok. But the more I used the soap, the more I wanted to use it. I've found in the past that scents like that are the ones that end up in your permanent rotation. In my opinion, the sandalwood and vanilla are the stronger notes in Captain Scurvy. The lime is very faint, just presenting itself enough to tone down the sweetness of the sandalwood and vanilla. I was never thrilled with sandalwood scents. Generally speaking, sandalwood on its own, unless it's a very subdued sandalwood can be overwhelmingly sweet. But Black Ship has taken sandalwood and masterfully blended it with a smooth vanilla and touched it with just a hint of lime to make it pleasant. My only Sandalwood soap and splash is Captain Scurvy. Again, bought the splash on the strength of the soap! Lathers easily and provides great protection.
