The Whydah was no ordinary ship. Built in the early 1700s, captured by pirate captain Samuel “Black Sam” Bellamy, and later swallowed by a Cape Cod storm, she became one of the most famous pirate wrecks ever discovered. This shaving soap is our tribute to that final, fabled voyage: rich, dark, citrus-bright, and edged with the mystery of buried treasure.

The scent opens with a flash of mandarin orange and bergamot, bright as sunlight striking a gold coin on a captain’s table. Beneath it, sage and beeswax add a warm, weathered depth, like old maps, lanterns, and polished wood below deck. The base settles into tobacco, amber, and oud, giving the fragrance a smooth, smoky richness worthy of a pirate flagship.

Handcrafted in small batches, this shaving soap builds a creamy, protective lather for a close, comfortable shave. It is bold without being loud, refined without being tame, and perfect for the man who likes his grooming with a little legend behind it.
